What a great last weekend at the Yellow Box. We had an awesome band, we had baptisms, we had my favorite new song (Hosanna by United) and we had a small choir joining on the worship. Great day all around.
Great job vocal ensemble! You added SO MUCH to the service. I am sure Sean will be calling you all again real soon for the next time. You all did AWESOME!
Here is the entire 9:30 service for the Plainfield Campus. If you hate video, sorry. I am posting this mostly for archiving purposes and so our band, artists and Campus Pastor can watch themselves and learn from the footage and become better at what they do.
Please enjoy.

Yesterday was our Plainfield Campus' last "practice service" before the big launch next week. Everything went extremely smooth. We worked out a few more bugs and found a few more things we need to alter, but otherwise that campus is going to be AWESOME next week. We are getting better and better at our launch sequence for each new campus.
The multi-campus model just provides such unbelievable support to each campus in start-up mode that a new church launch could only dream of. Yesterday, I brought in two of my experts, Greg Eichelberger and Tom Greever (audio and video), to give their expertise on a few challenges we had and they smoothed them right out. They are SO READY!

Here is Carson Prunty working out in between services.
If all of Brian Prunty's StuCo brilliance, he put together a killer "Rock Band" set-up for the Student area at Plainfield. He and Steven Cuny tried it out yesterday. All of the volunteers were huddled in that room watching during the message. Oops.
Forget Christmas. THIS is "the most wonderful time of the year"!! It is "Campus Launching Season!" We are starting a brand new campus in two weeks, as well as helping launch a brand new church in Kansas City. I am getting so excited! Church planting makes my heart beat faster than anything else.
Today was the first practice service for our Plainfield Campus in their facility, JFK Middle School in Plainfield. Considering we were setting up a lot of the equipment literally, for the first time, everything went really smooth. We executed two service with almost no problems. We are making lists of the things we need to fix this week (and buy).
Excellent job by Campus Pastor Brad Prunty, Arts Director Chris Heller and Children's Director Cathy Cuny. (Wait until you see the pictures of the Kids City area below. It will be hard for the other portable campuses to compare. I think they will want to follow suit. Plus it is saving us $40,000/ year in room rental at the school. Thanks 2/42 Detroit for the inspiration! You helped us move to the next level in portable church KC.)
